Cardboard Collection Scheme

Lowestoft Vision which is part of Suffolk Chamber of Commerce for Lowestoft and Waveney run a free weekly cardboard collection service for their members. It is designed to save businesses money on waste disposal.Lowestoft Vision have commissioned store it right to carry out the free service.

Matthew Wade from Annatar and Steve O’Brien from The British Heart Foundation on London road north both use the service.
Matthew said “I’ve been using the service for around 2 years now, it’s so simple, I don’t even notice it’s done as they come and take the waste and then leave us with another empty bin, it’s great".
Steve explained that the British Heart Foundation and Annatar both share the one communal bin along with the RSPCA, which means it’s easier for them all.
Matthew also said “It’s a great service to the businesses and potentially saves me around £260 per year on waste collection costs”

Cardboard collection is on a Tuesday or Wednesday.
