Lowestoft and Waveney Chamber Business Awards
The ninth Suffolk Chamber of Commerce in Lowestoft & Waveney Business Awards were held at Ivy Hall, Ivy House Country Hotel, Oulton Broad. The Gala Evening on Friday 18th November 2016, saw a gathering of over 200 local businesses who joined us to celebrate the best that Lowestoft & Waveney has to offer the business world.
The event started at 7pm with an introduction from Chair of Suffolk Chamber Jules Shorrock, then came a speech from chief executive John Dugmore. A three course dinner then followed, leading to the awards presentation at 9:15pm.
As part of the event Lowestoft Vision sponsored the Excellence in Customer Services award (1-10) of which Rosie’s Beauticians and Rosie’s Spa won.
BID members were well represented at the awards, below is a list of BID award winners:
Palmers Department Store were highly commended in the Excellence in Customer Service Award (11 +)
Palmers Department Store then went on to win Family Business of the Year Award, with Coes Menswear Lowestoft being highly commended
P J Gillman Jewellers were highly commended in the Growing Business Award
Miss Bonny & Calico Jacks won the Most Promising New Business Award
Lowestoft Vision sponsored the Excellence in Customer Service Award (1-10) presented by Danny Steel, which was won by Rosie's Beauticians & Rosie's Spa Day
Scenic Projects who Lowestoft Vision commissioned to design the Lowestoft turtles picked up the award for Growing Business and Business of the year award, a huge congratulations to Martin Wilson and Nick Garrod.
